Formed in January 2008, Harkness Consulting provides strategic solutions to major corporate clients. The firm's partners are exceptionally talented Pomona College senior economics majors. They all look forward to fulfilling careers that build on their Pomona College training and experience.

The Harkness clients are twelve leading corporations. All of them face strategic challenges. They look to us for fresh answers to their business problems. Harkness is expensive, but our clients tell us our work is worth the extra cost. What differentiates our approach from that of other consulting firms is our strong emphasis on collaboration. Clients tell us that they are often startled by the unexpected insights we provide them about their businesses and about practical strategies we offer to help them to move forward.

We took our name inspired by Donald James Harkness who led a movement that encourages collaboration in learning and problem solving.

Harkness Consulting has been approached by a number of growth equity firms urging us to go public. We have declined their offers of help. Unlike most startup companies we are already  well capitalized and anticipate strong second quarter earnings.
